We at Cannasupplies, a division of Consolidated Bottle Corporation (“Cannasupplies”, “us”, “we” and “our”) are committed to protecting your privacy.

This policy explains how Cannasupplies collects, uses, and discloses personal information collected in our stores and on or through our websites (collectively, the “Platform”).

By using the Platform, or otherwise providing us with your personal information, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this policy. What personal information do we collect from you, and why?

“Personal information” means any information that can identify you, either on its own or in combination with other information.

Except as otherwise specified in this policy, we only collect the personal information you provide to us.

When you use the Platform, we may collect your name, business name, address, phone number and email address.

We use this information to submit and fulfil your orders, communicate with you about your order and, subject to our obligations under applicable anti-spam laws, email you about our products and promotions.

When will we share your personal information with third parties?

Except as set out in this policy, Cannasupplies does not disclose your personal information to any third parties. We may, however, share your information in the following circumstances:

Affiliates: Cannasupplies may share your personal information with other members of our corporate group for the purposes contemplated in this privacy policy.

 

Service Providers: Cannasupplies may disclose your personal information to third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf. For example, we may share your personal information with our logistics provider(s) to facilitate delivery of your order to you and to our data hosting provider in connection with their provision of data hosting services to us.

Other: In the event of any acquisition or sale of Cannasupplies and/or its assets, you consent to our disclosing your personal information to a purchasing entity or to an entity which contemplates purchasing Cannasupplies and/or its assets. We may also transfer your personal information to third parties in the unlikely event of Cannasupplies’ insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership. We also reserve the right to disclose your personal information if required or permitted to do so by applicable law.

Where do we process and store your personal information?

Some of the parties to whom we may provide your personal information may be located in jurisdictions outside Canada, including the United States. As a result, your personal information may be transferred to and used, stored and/or accessed outside Canada, including the United States and possibly other jurisdictions in accordance with applicable law.  Please note that when your personal information is located outside of Canada, it will be subject to the laws of the country in which it is situated, and these jurisdictions may not have data protection laws which provide a level of protection equivalent to that of Canadian data protection laws.

How do we keep your personal information secure?

We take the protection of your personal information seriously. We employ a range of safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss and theft as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, and modification, including physical, organization and technological measures, commensurate with the sensitivity of your personal information. Our employees have access to your personal information only if they need if to perform their employment duties and are required to keep such personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which it was provided.

Where we use service providers who might have access to your personal information in order to perform their services for us, we require them to have privacy and security standards that are comparable to ours. We use contracts and other appropriate measures with our service providers to maintain the confidentiality and security of your personal information and to prevent it from being used for any purpose otherwise than in accordance with this policy.

Please be aware that no data security measures can guarantee 100% security. You should also take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, and keeping your log-in and password private. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or compromised passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.

How long do we retain your personal information?

We will only retain your personal information as long as is necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. Your personal information is securely stored until such time as it is no longer required, after which it is destroyed, rendering it unable to identify you.

What other information do we collect from you, and why?

This Platform uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” — text files that are stored on your computer and enable the analysis of website usage. The information produced by the cookie about your use of the Platform is sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to analyze your use of the Platform, compile reports about the Platform activities and provide us with other services relating to the Platform and internet use. The IP address sent by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may prevent cookies from being stored on your computer by selecting the relevant setting in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in this case some parts of the Platform may lose full functionality. Minors and children

The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of majority in their province or territory of residence or, if a product is specifically regulated, under the legal age for that product. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13.  If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.
